Camera painting

The advent of the camera has profoundly transformed the world of art, particularly that of painting. For the first time in history, a technical tool offered the ability to capture what was in front of its lens more quickly and with increased precision. Faced with this revolution, painting had to explore new paths, including those of abstraction, while photography had to break free from the traditional paths assigned to it to flourish as a full-fledged art form.

The series entitled "Camera painting" explores one of these paths by asking the following question: "how can a camera be used to create pictorial works?"
